01 / MYRA

Continuous in vivo
biomarker data.From one animal.
Across the whole study.

Continuous in vivo biomarker monitoring for preclinical studies.

A measurement layer that captures exposure and physiology continuously, alongside the study design already in place.

02 / THE SHIFT

What changes when you stop sampling the moments, and start measuring the study?

Biology is continuous. Periodic blood sampling captures isolated moments, then reconstructs the curve between them.

The sampling schedule can shapes the picture you see - MYRA completes the picture between them: the pulses, rhythms and response timing a fixed sampling schedule can miss.

THE QUESTION IS WHAT HAPPENS
BETWEEN SAMPLES.

01

PULSES AND RHYTHMS

Hormone pulses, daily rhythms and cycles unfold between scheduled blood draws.

02

RESPONSE TIMING

When a response starts and when it settles is hard to see from a few timepoints.

03

HANDLING EFFECTS

Repeated handling and blood draws can themselves move stress and metabolic markers.

04

STUDY DESIGN

Continuous profiles can guide when to draw. Scheduled blood draws remain the reference.

IMPLANT

A small implanted sensor provides continuous in vivo measurement.

02

MEASURE

The analyte is measured continuously across the study.

03

CAPTURE

Physiology can be captured alongside the analyte.

04

ANALYSE

The resulting data can feed existing analysis and bioinformatics workflows.

04 / WHAT CHANGES

What continuous measurement changes.

01

FULL TIME COURSE

The full time course of each biomarker is measured in situ, not reconstructed between a few timepoints and not capped by how much blood a small animal can give.

02

THE ACTIVE PHASE

Rodents are most active at night, when blood is rarely drawn. Continuous measurement covers the full 24 hours without handling the animal.

03

RESPONSE DYNAMICS

Onset, duration and recovery of a response, and the order in which biomarkers move, can be read for each animal, not just a level at a fixed timepoint.

04

DOSE FINDING AND SAFETY SIGNALS

Biomarker responses, such as drug-induced glucose or stress changes, can inform dose selection and flag safety signals while the study runs, not only after it ends.

05

DISEASE MODELS

Continuous profiles can help establish a disease model and benchmark it against reference compounds, using rhythms and trends that snapshots do not show.

06

ANIMAL USE AND 3RS

Depending on the study design, one implanted animal can support continuous biomarker readouts and terminal endpoints, with less handling and stress.

07

TRANSLATIONAL ANALYSIS

A denser preclinical biomarker dataset can strengthen the translational analysis behind human dose and endpoint selection. Biomarkers shared across species can be followed from animal to human.

08

STUDY REPRODUCIBILITY

Instrument-driven measurement reduces dependence on technician timing, handling and processing across sites and shifts.

The magnitude and relevance of these changes depend on the analyte, species, model and study design.

05 / FIT

Your operation stays your operation.

Your protocols, endpoints and reporting formats can remain as they are.

MYRA adds a measurement layer alongside current sampling.

The data lands in the data and analysis workflows your teams already use.

06 / THE BUSINESS

The dataset becomes the differentiator.

01

MARKET POSITION

A differentiated study capability that can set the CRO apart.

02

SERVICE PORTFOLIO

An additional measurement capability alongside the existing CRO offer.

03

INCREMENTAL REVENUE

Potential premium value where continuous biomarker data matters to the programme

04

SPONSOR RETENTION

A stronger first dataset can support follow-on work on the next programme or molecule.

05

DATA ASSET

Continuous, standardised biomarker data can compound study by study.

Continuous measurement doesn’t just add another endpoint. It creates a new class of preclinical data.
